5 out of 5 stars Bumkins Organic Cotton Burp Cloth   April 10, 2010

The Bumkins Organic Cotton Burp Cloth are made of very good quality. We purchased them, as well as, the matching Bumkins Organic Cotton Bibs and we love them both.

5 out of 5 stars Love these! My baby is worth it!   September 3, 2009

Maybe flannel diapers or hospital burb cloths are longer and cheap but they are paper thin and not absorbent at all. The tons of Carters and Gerbers burp cloths we got as gifts started off looking TONS cuter than these but after one wash or two they faded quickly, the edge trim and appliques even hardened! Maybe I am being foolish for believing the word "organic" means the lack of decorations and color mean there are less inks to touch my baby. But I think all those cute inks and decorations are the reason the cheap cloths do not hold up well to washing. I even take extra time to wash everything in Dreft under the hand wash cycle and I dry everything in low heat and delicate. I even hang dry the extra cute ones so they look good next to her dress up clothes when we go to a wedding or special outing. But nonetheless they look and feel thin and harsh on my hands so I cannot imagine how they must feel like on my baby's new skin. My baby grabs these and rubs her face on them when I am feeding her, just as she does her little ultra lux blanky a good friend gave her as a gift. She doesn't do that with the cheap ones. In my opinion as a first time mom, that waited 10 years for this little blessing, I am so willing to pay a little more so that my baby has thick, plush, soft organic burp cloths whether I use them at home or on the go! I bought them in every color and gave away the others!

5 out of 5 stars These just feel nice   April 30, 2009

What more can I say, these just feel nice. They are like oversized wash cloths, and fit over your shoulder nicely. Not too big to carry with you on an outing.

5 out of 5 stars These are "going out" burp cloths!   February 2, 2009

I'm a huge fan of Bumkins products, but these burp cloths were probably my favorite thing for my son's first 6 months. I only had two and I jealously guarded them to be sure they didn't get used to wipe up spilled coffee or left behind at restaurants!! In the privacy of my own sleep-deprived mind I dubbed these my "Sunday, Going-to-Meeting Burp Cloths."

With all seriousness, though, these are an AWESOME gift for a new baby. They are super-soft and exceptionally absorbant. That they organic is a nice addition, since you never know how freaky a new parent is going to be about what touches their child, so it's safest to err on the side of caution!

Since using them with my own child, I've included them in every new-baby gift I've given since and will continue to do so!

2 out of 5 stars Not soft   October 18, 2008

Unfortunately, these burp cloths are rough. Instead, try Under the Nile (from Giggle and other stores) or Gerber Organic (from Babies 'R Us). Those are very soft and in the same price range or cheaper.
