indiana jones February 2, 2010 Lori Carr The hat is so cute and durable. My 5 year old son loves it! He wants to wear it everywhere we go! The whip on the other hand has been lots of fun but just only 2days of play and we having to duct tape it together. It feels like a foam material. It is not as durable as the whip that comes with the adult hat.
Indiana Jones March 30, 2009 Eileen G. Warzeka (Lake City, SD) The product was very high quality, with a reasonable price. I bought this for a 7 year old nephew, who was the perfect age for the hat and whip. The seller also was very cooperative, shipping was very fast, and product was as described. Very pleased with the sale.
Good quality for the price March 9, 2009 Jack Fitzgerald (Seattle, WA United States) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I ordered 8 of these hat/whip sets for my son's Indiana Jones theme party. It's better than giving away "goodie bags" of junk and candy.
The hats are made a surprisingly good quality material that stood up to at least one day's abuse at the party, going outside in rain and snow, being pressed into and out of shape. Not sure how they'll hold up over time but not bad so far. My major ding on the hats is the "one size fits all" claim. This was a party of 7-8 year olds and the hats will soon be too small for some of them. I wouldn't recommend for kids over 8.
The whips are made of a foam material that is lightweight and will not hurt if you hit someone, still not recommended and do keep away from eyes/face but in general appropriate for children.
Also, beware that if you order a quantity you will pay a bit more for shipping because of the "dim weight" even though the item is lightweight it takes up space.
Every little Indiana Jones must have items March 4, 2009 Corinne Agor-doyle (Fallston, MD) Great gift for the money. My son has become Indiana Jones. At his school they had "Character Day" where you could dress up as a character in a book. He of course wanted to be Indiana Jones with the whip, hat and satchel, and his classmates had no problem figuring out his character. He drags these items with him everywhere he goes. In fact he has graduated to a real leather bullwhip now.
Any kid age 4 to 7 would enjoy these items.
A 3 Year Old Uses His Imagination February 18, 2009 Nicole F. Lefsyk (Canadensis, Pennsylvania) My nephew loves his hat and whip. He put on the hat, held the whip and immediately got into character. He was the good guy saving his family from evil by tossing his whip for us to grab onto. Then, he pulled us to safety. Yeah!!!!
